Silver linings.

itz hard to wait on sth u kno might never happen..buh itz even harder to giv up wen u kno its evrythang u evre wanted! This is a quote i took from my friends profile, and i completely agree with it. Its completely says what I have been feeling for the past few days.

Today as I walked down from school after attending an event, I looked up at the sky and saw the most spectacular silver(actually golden) lining on the clouds. It was such a pretty sight, and I completely regretted not having my camera with me at that moment. My wise friend, Kakivi, told me, that I could take a mental picture of it, and remember it forever :) . Well that still dont stop making me wish I had a camera, because I would have loved to have shared that picture with a specific someone, who is currently thousands of miles away, but would have loved to have seen it.

What it did to me was, it made me feel a bit more positive about life, in the most tiniest and silliest manner, but still, enough to uplift my spirits. It made me feel like things were going to better, and that the days would get better. It was great :)

This is just a random picture of a silver lining i found online, just to give you the feel of what i was talking about. The real view was breathtaking!

Fashion

My love for fashion started ages ago, probably when i was about 4 years old. At that age, i went through this phase when I had to change my clothes five times a day (not an exagerration). Luckily for my mom though, i grew out of that stage :)
Since then, my love for fashion has grown, although at boarding school, its mostly restricted to just appreciating it in magazines and online sites, and getting fabulous clothes at thrift markets. My mother thinks that I buy too many things, which is almost true, because I make it a point to buy an item to add to my jewellery collection everytime I go to the bazaar(market), and buying clothes everytime I make a trip to delhi, or just out to the stores in town. :p

One of my favourite achievements was getting my JSB dress made. It was based on one of the dresses from Valentino Garavani's S/S 2008 collection. Valentino is my favourite designer, and so I was adamant to base my designs on his style. Needless to say, everyone loved it :)

Anways, here is a short wishlist that I have at the moment. It is bound to grow as the years pass by, but at the moment this is my rough draft :)

1) the Hermès Birkin Bag, in red.

2) a white wedding gown by Valentino Garavani.

3) a pixie diadem, exactly like the one on the left.

4) Dorothy's red slippers, by Moschino

5) a pair of black Mary Janes by Christian Louboutin

Thats all for now. I have to sign off. Bye.

Start of something new.

Ok. So I am not much of a blogger, having never written one before. So, anyways, this is one of my new adventures, Blogging. I know it doesnt seem like a very exciting adventure, considering that adventures usually seem more "out there", and "challenging". Well, for me, writing on a regular basis is a bit of a challenge, not because I am at a loss for words, but rather because I find it difficult to sit and concentrate long enough to actually write. Its not like I have ADD, or a short attention span, but it just is that way. So, writing this blog, will hopefully help me remedy that.
Anyways. Thats all for now. My first post :)
