An aerial view of Durham

Picture from www.paradoxplace.com/.../Durham.htm

What does the future hold for me?

After a series of uncertain moments, the confirmation has come through. Unconditional offer to study at Durham University :)

So England it is. My dream of studying in the UK is finally coming true! Quite excited about what the upcoming three years will entail for me. In the mean time, I have to keep myself occupied, so that I dont die of boredom!

JSB

The prom equivalent of WS..JSB is always the most highly anticiapted night for every high schooler here. This year, the theme, which the senior class gets to decide on, was Casino-Masquerade. However, after much discussion, the casino bit was scrapped and the final theme was Masquerade.

Ball gowns, masks, good food and dancing made JSB a night worth anticipating after all.

London Calling :)

Wide-eyed. Starstruck.

That was me, three days ago when I was driving into London from Heathrow. My dream city, and I'm here now. Its better than I imagined it to be.
Love it here.

Now, time for some shopping. Primark, Neu, Harrods, John Lewis, Selfridges, Dorothy Perkins and more...Here I come :)

Knights in shining armor. Thats what I thought of when i drank my cup of tea the morning of the big day. Well, partly because my new mug, had a cartoon of a knight near a castle :)
So, I wished a little wish and went on with the day, waiting for the ball.
Finally, we got to the ball and it was great. The best party i've ever been to, more like! A night of elegance, glamour, dancing, great food and ofcourse FUN!
There definitely were great surprises, mainly meeting and talking to one of the people whom i've always wished to meet. That was the highlight of the evening.
My knight came, and after a while, he just dissappeared into the darkness. Without a word.
Come back.

Friends will be the definate highlight of the whole break. And ofcourse, spendig time with my family!
Good bhutanese food, banoffee pie at Art cafe and more.
